I was busy with other activities when a friend encouraged me to try to get a shot of the black-crowned night herons on the Angel Fire wetland.  Reluctantly, I sat by the waterside and took a few shots -- to my delight I captured this one's wing tips brushing the pond!  Lesson learned - one should never pass up an opportunity to take photos!
